Padang – This activity is one of the traditions of students of the Faculty of Engineering, especially the Automotive Engineering Department. At the beginning of entering into a UNP student there was a welcome and after graduating there was also a release. The 117th period of graduation ceremony was held starting December 12, 2019 in the OTO.05 Automotive Engineering FT UNP Room. This event was attended by graduates who will graduate in the 117th period, Himoto 90 Management and Automotive Engineering students who had the opportunity to attend.
The host for this activity was Br. Rahmad Desman Koto, sang the Indonesia Raya Song, which was hosted by Ms. Ovanita Afriani and the Committee Chairperson’s Report delivered by Br. Nofri Delmi. The General Chairman of Himoto 90, Br. Gusmardiansyah and also the coach of Himoto Mr. Rifdarmon, S.Pd., M.Pd.T.
The following remarks were delivered by the Head of the Automotive Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Wakhinuddin S., M.Pd. and at the same time officially opened the event by saying “Bismillah”. The Head of the Automotive Engineering Department would like to congratulate and pray to the graduates so that after graduation they will be able to become useful people for their families, communities, nation and country. In addition, he also advised that the knowledge gained while on campus can be applied in the community as well as possible and must always maintain the good name of the alma mater at the State University of Padang.
On this occasion, representatives of the graduates / ti Mister. Riski Kurnia Ramadan also expressed his gratitude to the Organizing Committee and Himoto 90 Management for preparing this event well. Thanks are also conveyed to the Head of the Automotive Engineering Department and all Lecturers and Education Personnel who have been educating and assisting graduates in the process of studying and completing education in the Department of Automotive Engineering, FT UNP.
At the peak of the graduation day on December 16, 2019, Automotive Engineering Students held a procession of Automotive Engineering graduates. The procession started from the Engineering Faculty to the UNP Auditorium. So 6 Departments in the Faculty of Engineering will gather and line up according to their respective majors. This year Automotive Engineering is at the forefront of the procession because it has a lot of people and vehicles, ranging from Sport R15 motorbikes, Wooden Vespa, Kawasaki Ninja, and modified motorbikes.
Alhamdulillah, this activity went smoothly from start to finish thanks to the cooperation of all parties. Hopefully after this release, all graduates will get the best work and will have their sustenance launched by Allah Subhanahu WaTa’ala. Aamiin. Don’t forget to frequently come back to visit the “second house” of the Himoto Secretariat even though they are already busy out there fighting for their respective futures.
